DR. COLIN YOUNG, DDS
Dr. Colin Young is a cosmetic dentist at Summer Dental. He grew up in Orem, Utah. He completed his undergraduate education at Utah Valley University and attended dental school at Roseman College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Young has had extensive training in implants, cosmetic and restorative Dentistry with over 400 hours of continuing education. He is extremely passionate about dentistry and loves helping his patients smile again!
In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, being outdoors and rooting on his favorite college football team.
DR. JAMES HULSEY
Dr. James Hulsey is a general dentist at Sunrise Dental in Oklahoma City. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma (BS) and the University of Oklahoma (BM), he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
With a natural curiosity for restoring things that are broken, Dr. Hulsey finds great joy in bringing back both the form and function of his patients’ smiles. Dentistry felt like a natural career path, especially growing up in a family full of medical doctors. He describes that Thanksgiving dinner has always felt and resembled a medical conference to him.
Dr. Hulsey believes in being the patient’s advocate. He is passionate about patient care and patient autonomy. He strives to provide honest and transparent recommendations, the same he would provide for his own family, so his patients can feel confident in making informed decisions about their oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hulsey enjoys playing music, traveling, hiking, lake trips, and cooking French meals inspired by Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” He also loves gathering with friends to read and discuss philosophy.
DR. TYLER ZULAUF, DDS
Dr. Tyler Zulauf is an Orthodontist from Norco, California. From a young age Dr. Zulauf knew that he wanted to be an orthodontist, in the sixth grade he wrote an essay stating that it was what he wanted to be when he grew up and started his profession.
Years later, after earning his undergraduate degree at Utah Valley University in Exercise Science, dental school at the University of Southern California (USC), and his orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University, that dream of being an orthodontist never wavered and finally came true.
Dr. Zulauf finds deep fulfillment in his orthodontic practice through creating beautiful smiles and building confidence in his patients. He approaches each patient thoughtfully by crafting personalized treatment plans for them, while ensuring every patient is comfortable and has a positive experience overall.
Outside the office, Dr. Zulauf values quality time with his wife and their two daughters and his favorite ways to unwind include fishing, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
